reading to dogs at your animal shelter (e.g., MSPCA)

our local animal shelter has a program where kids can read to the dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. in the shelter's care. it is a great way to encourage your kid to practice reading to a non-critical being who will not correct them, and to help care for animals/your community.
